Abstract

Directory Enabled Network (DEN) provides us Information Model to design an interoperable, distributed and robust service for accessing network applications, services and resources in a platform independent manner. This paper provides a detail framework for the DEN implementation from ontological perspectives where DEN has been used to help easy management of a network instead of managing individual resources and services. Java Naming and Directory Interface (JNDI) are recommended as programming tools in Java platform for implementing DEN ontology.
